The 10 mile-milestone

Is "mile-milestone" redundant? I guess not.
This last weekend, Pam and I reached a milestone in our running. We hit the big 1-0. 10 consecutive miles, baby! The sense of accomplishment was, of course, amazing. However, the physical aspects of it were not quite as wonderful. I'm still having a sharp lingering pain in my right ankle that I hope will get better before it gets worse. Neither Pam nor I could really do much in the way of moving for most of the day yesterday. Luckily, our training program chose this week to be a week of "taking it easy," so that's just what I'm going to do. Next week is 9 miles, so that should be slightly easier, since my body seemed to want to give out at around 8 miles yesterday, that one mile difference at the end makes ALL the difference.
