Well, I've committed myself to it.  I'm going to run the Houston Half Marathon (13.1 miles) on January 13, 2008.  I have already signed up an paid for it.  I have also signed up and paid for a half-marathon training program.  So if I don't go through with it, I'm out $160 :(.  They say the biggest obstacle to overcoming a race is showing up; that it's 90% of the battle.

The training program starts in July, so more on this to come.
