Buying a Townhome

Pam and I definitively decided to buy a Townhome in our area. While we could easily afford a nice house in the suburbs, both of us like this area too much to move away.
Given the area we live in, with a 30-year mortgage, taxes, association fees, and insurance, we can buy a $110,000 townhome without paying more monthly than we are now for an apartment. And since it looks like we're going to be here for at least another 5 years, we might as well!
